Problem Resolution:
Problem: Some manuals will not display in Adobe Acrobat
Reason: Limited available memory to load manual.
Resolution:
Follow these steps instead of the normal procedure:
1. Click the link in the email message sent by the storefront.
2. Right-click the "Download Now" link and select "Save Target As" in the pop-up menu. Save the "Manual_##_Links.PDF" file to a convenient folder on your hard drive such as "C:\Temp" or "C:\My Documents".
3. Use "File/Open" in Adobe Acrobat to open the "Manual_##_Links.PDF" file from the location where you saved it.
4. The "Manual_##_Links.PDF" file contains links to various sections of the manual.
5. Right-click one of the links and select "Open Weblink As New Document". You may receive a message stating that there is an embedded secure document. Position your cursor on top of the red pushpin so that the cursor turns into a triangle.
6. Double-click the red pushpin. At this point you may receive security warning messages if you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Select "Open Document Anyway".
7. When Adobe Acrobat opens the manual for viewing, the first page is sometimes not visible. Click the right arrow at the bottom of the Adobe window to force Adobe to display the 2nd page. Then, click the left arrow to force Adobe to display the first page.
