Believe it or not this
is the end of a heavy duty dryer cord that connects inside the dryer.
The dryer is used in a busy veterinary hospital and is under heavy use.
The dryer still tumbled but there was no heat (see dryer manual for
explanation). The wires burned off at the heavy terminal block on the
back of the dryer. |
|
The internal dryer wiring is heat damaged and must be cut back to good wire and new rings installed. |
|
The terminal block itself is ok except for discoloring on the right side screw. As long as the threads are clean and will clamp the new wire rings together tightly it is OK to reuse the block. |
|
Use a good quality crimping tool to install new high temperature ring ends on the internal dryer wiring. Install a new line cord and you are back in business. |
